Where Does Superhuman Store Local Data?
Superhuman Electron data folder with cache and session state on macOS.
Last updated
Superhuman is a client over Gmail and Outlook, so mail, splits and snippets live server-side while the desktop app caches session state locally. Signing in anywhere restores the full workflow.
The local folder follows Electron conventions and holds cache plus login state. Clearing it signs you out without touching a single email.
Where Superhuman stores this, by platform
~/Library/Application Support/Superhuman
Holds cache, session and settings state. Folder naming may vary by release, so verify on your install. Mail and snippets re-sync from your accounts, so deletion only forces re-login. Use Finder Go > Go to Folder to reach it.
Frequently asked questions
Will clearing Superhuman data delete my emails?
No. Everything authoritative lives in Gmail or Outlook plus your Superhuman account settings. Local files are cache and session only.
Superhuman shows a blank window. What do I clear?
Quit the app and remove its Application Support folder, then sign in again. Update to the current version first since blank windows often trace to stale caches.
