What every guide gives you

Every guide is short on purpose: the exact path, which platforms it applies to, and just enough context to know what the folder is actually for. Each one also carries a last-updated date, since storage locations drift between app versions and OS updates. Anything older than a year is worth double-checking before you rely on it.

How guides are written

Paths are verified against documentation and current releases before they are published, and corrections from readers are folded back into the guides. If a path includes something user-specific (a numeric account ID, a profile hash), the guide explains the pattern and the easiest way to reach the folder through the app itself instead of pretending the path is identical on every machine.
