Where Does the About You Outlet App Store Data?
About You Outlet keeps deal orders in private storage on Android, separate from the main shop app data.
Last updated
Fashion retailer About You splits main shop and Outlet into separate listings. Outlet runs its own package for deal hunting with separate storage. The outlet suffix marks clearance stock with its own pricing. Search results never mix the two catalogs.
An iOS build exists separately with an unverified ID, so only Android is stated here. Orders live server side. Do not copy one profile into the other. Sale alerts re register after login. Return labels regenerate in the app after sign in. Session holds login plus image cache.
Where About You Outlet stores this, by platform
/data/data/de.aboutyou.outlet.app
Private Outlet session and cache for the verified outlet package. Main shop uses a separate mobile.app ID.
Frequently asked questions
Is Outlet the same as the main About You app?
Install Outlet at de.aboutyou.outlet.app for deals. The main shop at de.aboutyou.mobile.app keeps separate data. Same login works in both; carts do not merge.
Do Outlet orders transfer phones?
Log into the same account on the new phone. Orders sync from servers. Local data holds session and image cache, so the move needs no file copies. Wishlist syncs separately per storefront.
