Where Are Asterigos: Curse of the Stars Save Files Located?
The Asterigos save folder on PC, in the Saved Games profile folder under the AcmeGS studio name.
Last updated
Asterigos skips AppData entirely and saves in the profile-root Saved Games folder under the AcmeGS studio shorthand. A Steam style SaveGames tree sits below that, so the tail end looks familiar even if the head does not.
GOG owners get a different tree through Galaxy storage, which is worth knowing before following Steam guides. Match the instructions to your storefront and the files line up.
Where Asterigos: Curse of the Stars stores this, by platform
%USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\AcmeGS\Asterigos\Saved\SaveGames
Profile Saved Games folder, not AppData or Documents. AcmeGS is the studio shorthand. GOG Galaxy builds use a different storage tree, so Steam paths do not apply there.
Frequently asked questions
Is Saved Games the same as Documents?
No. Saved Games is its own folder directly under your user profile. Paste %USERPROFILE%\Saved Games into Explorer to open it.
Why do GOG guides show a different Asterigos path?
Galaxy builds route through GOG storage instead. Follow Steam paths for Steam copies and Galaxy paths for GOG copies.
