Where Does Audiomack Store Offline Downloads?

Audiomack offline songs and mixtapes in app storage on Android and iPhone.

Last updated

Audiomack downloads live inside the app sandbox, managed from the Downloads section. Tapping download on a song, album or mixtape copies an encrypted cache for offline play with unlimited skips. The files are not MP3s you can open elsewhere.

Account state is the second half. Playlists, follows, likes and creator uploads sync to your Audiomack login, while the audio cache is per device. Logging out or clearing data keeps the account and drops the offline copies. Illegally uploaded tracks can vanish from offline too when the service removes them.

Where Audiomack stores this, by platform

Android
App-private storage (Downloads section in app)

Offline mixtapes and albums for data free listening, plus queue on Wi-Fi option in settings. Local MP3 playback reads separately. Clear cache in-app before resorting to system Clear Data, which wipes downloads.

iOS
App sandbox (Downloads section in app)

Same encrypted cache model on iPhone. Background play and repeats work offline. Offloading the app preserves documents where possible; deleting removes every download and forces a redownload.

Frequently asked questions

can I copy Audiomack downloads as MP3 files

No. Offline files are encrypted app cache, playable only inside Audiomack while the track stays licensed. To keep audio portably, use the Creator app upload flow or buy the tracks elsewhere.

why did my Audiomack offline songs disappear

Common causes are logout, cache clear, app reinstall, or the uploader removing the track after a rights complaint. The app notice for the last case is the tell. Redownload surviving tracks on Wi-Fi with the queue option on.
