Where Are Demon Tides Save Files Located?

Demon Tides saves in a Fabraz LocalLow folder, with extra settings in the Windows registry.

Last updated

Demon Tides keeps its saves in a Fabraz folder in LocalLow, matching the studio behind Demon Turf. Progress, settings and cache share the one tree, so a single folder copy preserves the whole open-sea adventure.

Some configuration also lives in the Windows registry under a Fabraz key. File backups cover progress, but a full-fidelity migration exports that registry key too. The demo's saves carry into the full game, so back up before upgrading rather than after.

Where Demon Tides stores this, by platform

Windows
C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\LocalLow\Fabraz\Demon Tides

Saves and local settings together. Extra config sits in the registry at HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Fabraz/Demon Tides, worth exporting for full migrations.

Linux
~/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/2585890/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/LocalLow/Fabraz/Demon Tides

Proton prefix for Steam Deck and Linux desktops, app ID 2585890. Same Fabraz folder layout inside the prefix.

Frequently asked questions

Do Demon Tides demo saves transfer to the full game?

Yes. The demo writes to the same Fabraz folder the full game reads, so progress carries over automatically when you upgrade.

Where are Demon Tides graphics settings?

Split between the LocalLow folder and the HKCU/Software/Fabraz/Demon Tides registry key. Copy the folder and export the key for a complete transfer.
