Where Are Deponia Save Files Located?
The Deponia save folder on PC, with Rufus's junkyard plans under Daedalic in Local AppData.
Last updated
Rufus saves his Elysium schemes in Local AppData under the Daedalic Entertainment publisher folder, in a plainly named Deponia directory. Config shares the folder, keeping escape plans with settings.
Note the missing GmbH suffix that sibling games carry. Copy the folder and the whole trash planet transfers.
Where Deponia stores this, by platform
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Daedalic Entertainment\Deponia
Local AppData with no GmbH in the publisher folder, unlike some siblings. Saves and config share the directory.
Frequently asked questions
Does this cover the Deponia sequels?
No. Chaos on Deponia and the later entries keep their own folders. This page is only about the original.
How do I back up Deponia?
Copy the whole Deponia folder while the game is closed. Every escape attempt travels inside it.
