Where Does Epson Smart Panel Save Scans?

Smart Panel keeps its app data under its Epson package folder on Android, with scans landing in Pictures unless you changed it.

Last updated

Smart Panel has two homes on Android. The app private folder holds settings and account state under the verified Epson package name. Finished scans go to shared storage, where other apps can see them.

The scan destination is configurable, so treat the Pictures path below as the default rather than a promise. iOS follows the platform pattern: the app container plus anything you explicitly saved to Photos or Files. Check the in app save location setting when a scan goes missing.

Where Epson Smart Panel stores this, by platform

Android
/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.epson.epsonsmart

Settings and cache under the verified package com.epson.epsonsmart. Pair this with the scan folder when troubleshooting, since login state lives here and files live elsewhere.

Android
/storage/emulated/0/Pictures/EPSON

Default scan destination on most installs. Open the app save settings to confirm, since the folder changes the moment anyone edits it. Move older scans here by hand if they landed elsewhere.

iOS
On My iPhone/Epson Smart Panel

Scans you share out land in Photos or the Files app under On My iPhone. The app container itself is unreachable by path, so export through the share sheet instead of hunting folders.

Frequently asked questions

I cannot find a scan I just made. Where is it?

Open the app and check its save settings first. Scans go to the folder shown there, usually under Pictures. Moving old files by hand works, but new scans keep using the configured spot.

Does Smart Panel keep copies of everything I print?

No. Print jobs render on the phone and stream to the printer, so nothing persists except settings and recent history. Keep the file you printed; the app does not archive it.
