Where Are Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea Save Files Located?
Echoes of Teradea stores .sav files in AppData LocalLow under a Natsume Inc_ folder keyed to your Steam ID. The naming quirks trip people up.
Last updated
Natsume's farm sim writes its .sav files to AppData\LocalLow rather than Local, inside a folder called Natsume Inc_ with a trailing underscore. The underscore is not a typo. Unity replaces characters it dislikes in company names, and the period in Natsume Inc. becomes an underscore.
Inside is a subfolder named after your 64-bit Steam ID, so on a shared PC each account gets its own farm. Copy that ID folder as one piece when moving saves around. Steam Cloud syncs the whole tree, so in normal use you never have to touch it.
Where Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea stores this, by platform
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Natsume Inc_\Harvest Moon_ Echoes of Teradea\<SteamID64>
.sav files, one subfolder per 64-bit Steam ID. Steam Cloud covers this tree; the underscore after Natsume Inc replaces the period in the company name.
~/Library/Application Support/Natsume Inc_/Harvest Moon Echoes of Teradea/
The Mac build's save tree per the same cloud configuration. Folder naming keeps the Natsume Inc_ underscore but drops the one after Moon.
Frequently asked questions
Where does Echoes of Teradea save files?
In %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Natsume Inc_\Harvest Moon_ Echoes of Teradea, one subfolder per Steam account. Look for the underscores, and note that LocalLow sits one level above the usual AppData Local.
Does the game support Steam Cloud?
Yes. The developer-configured cloud path covers the Natsume Inc_ tree, including the Steam ID folder, so progress follows your account rather than the current machine.
Where are the saves on a Mac?
The Mac build uses ~/Library/Application Support/Natsume Inc_/Harvest Moon Echoes of Teradea. Folder naming keeps the underscore after Natsume Inc, though the game-name part differs slightly from Windows.
