Where Are iOS Image Playground Generations Stored?
iOS Image Playground generations and library location, plus Apple Intelligence requirements.
Last updated
Image Playground generates cartoon style pictures on device with Apple Intelligence. Creations collect in the Playground library and flow into Messages stickers. Settings are minimal.
There is no Files folder of generations to browse. The library lives in app data and iCloud. Unsupported iPhones never see the app at all, which confuses people following newer guides.
Where iOS stores this, by platform
Image Playground > Library
Library and style choices live in the app. Save favorites to Photos for portable copies. Needs Apple Intelligence hardware and updated iOS.
Frequently asked questions
How do I create an Image Playground picture?
Open Image Playground, pick Animation or Illustration, type a prompt with a person or pet, then save to the library. Generations render on device on supported iPhones.
Do Playground images sync between devices?
They sync with Messages in iCloud and your Apple Account when enabled. A fresh install without sync shows an empty library. Keep sync on across phone and Mac.
