Where Does Kia Access Store Vehicle Data?
Kia Access keeps the garage and Kia Connect services in the owner account, with login and cache in the regional app folder.
Last updated
Kia runs separate apps per market on one owner account idea. The US app is Kia Access, built on the former UVO link package below. Europe uses a different Kia App package. Vehicle data syncs through the owner portal either way.
The phone folder holds session and cache only. Cross region folder copies fail because the packages differ, so install the market correct app and sign in. Remote features depend on car equipment plus subscription, not on anything stored locally.
Where Kia Access stores this, by platform
/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.myuvo.link
US market package from the UVO link lineage. Session and cache here; garage in the owner account. EU owners look for the separate Kia App package instead.
On My iPhone/Kia Access
Garage and service history sync through the owner login. Sign in to restore everything after a reinstall or a device switch.
Frequently asked questions
How do I move Kia Access to a new phone?
Install the app matching your market and sign in with the same owner account. US owners use Kia Access, Europe uses the Kia App. The garage follows the account within each system.
Connected services show as unavailable. Did I lose data?
Kia Connect, formerly UVO link, needs both an equipped car and an active subscription. The phone renders the services but cannot grant them. Verify equipment and subscription in the account first.
