Where Does Krisp Store Settings and Data?
Where Krisp keeps noise cancellation settings and account data on desktop.
Last updated
Krisp is an Electron style desktop app, so per user data sits in the Krisp AppData folders with models and account caches beside settings. The exact split between Roaming and Local shifts by release, which is why the settings UI matters more than any single file.
Treat the folders as caches. Sign in and device selection repair most states. Manual deletion is a last resort and the app rebuilds what it needs on next launch.
Where Krisp stores this, by platform
%APPDATA%\Krisp\
Root for Krisp settings, account cache and downloaded filter models. Prefer in-app settings and fresh sign in over hand edits. Exact subfolders shift between releases, so check both Roaming and Local trees.
~/Library/Application Support/Krisp/
Same role under Application Support on Mac. Reselect Krisp as mic and speaker in each call app after reinstalls, since macOS audio picks reset silently.
Frequently asked questions
Krisp stopped filtering. What should I check?
Open Krisp settings and check the account and audio device picks first. Local caches rebuild on sign in, so most fixes are reselecting the Krisp mic and speaker in your call app rather than deleting files.
How do I move Krisp to a new PC?
Sign in fresh on the new machine instead of copying caches. Minutes usage and team settings follow the account. Copying LocalAppData across PCs causes stale device IDs more often than it saves time.
