Where Does Legion Space Store Games and Settings?
Legion Space keeps its game library database under ProgramData on Legion Go handhelds. Edit it only with the app and services stopped.
Last updated
Legion Space is the launcher layer on Legion Go handhelds. It scans installed games into a library, applies performance and controller settings per title, and syncs lighting and power presets. The scan results live in a local database under ProgramData, which is why the library survives reinstalls of individual games.
Power users edit that database to fix titles and square icons from image sites. The file is SQLite, so DB Browser works, but only with every Legion service stopped and a backup taken. Normal setup needs none of this: add or hide games from inside the app and leave the DB alone.
Where Legion Space stores this, by platform
C:\ProgramData\Lenovo\LegionSpace\DB
SQLite library database. Stop Legion Space and its daemon service before editing, run DB Browser as admin, and back up the folder. Per-game power and controller profiles reference these rows.
Frequently asked questions
How do I fix game names and icons?
Close Legion Space fully, including the Legion Go daemon service, then open the database with DB Browser as administrator. The LG_NGame table holds display names and icon paths. Back up the DB folder first, since a bad edit empties your library view.
Does removing a game uninstall it?
Removing a tile only hides it from the library; the game stays installed. Uninstall through Windows or the original launcher instead. Reinstalling Legion Space repopulates the library scan, which also clears phantom entries from old installs.
