Where Does Marvel Unlimited Store Downloads?
Marvel Unlimited offline comics cache, library sync and reading progress.
Last updated
Marvel Unlimited downloads issues into app private storage for offline reading, with no cap on count. The 30,000 issue catalog streams from the subscription; your library lists, follow alerts and progress sync through the Marvel account.
Web reading never downloads anything permanent. Phone and tablet caches are per device and licensed: they open while subscribed and go dark if membership lapses. Reinstalls restore the library instantly and forget the bytes, so queue downloads again on Wi-Fi.
Where Marvel Unlimited stores this, by platform
App-private storage (unlimited offline downloads in-app)
Download per issue or arc for offline and on the go. Reading lists and continue reading sync on login. System Clear Data wipes the cache; the account shelf survives.
App sandbox (unlimited offline downloads in-app)
Same model on iPhone and iPad with Infinity Comics vertical format included. Requires recent app versions for supported offline. Deleting the app clears downloads only.
Frequently asked questions
can I copy Marvel Unlimited comics as CBZ files
No. Downloads are licensed app cache for offline reading under subscription, not portable issues. For owned copies buy the volumes digitally or physically elsewhere.
do Marvel Unlimited downloads work without subscription
No. Cached issues need active membership to open. Keep the subscription current for travel reading and renew before long offline stretches.
