Mp3tag on Windows keeps actions, columns and mp3tag.cfg in %APPDATA%\Mp3tag for installed builds, next to the exe for portable ones, and in a Packages LocalCache path for the Store build. Help, About names your variant when unsure.
Migration is a zip: File, Save configuration writes Mp3tagSettings.zip, restored by unzipping into the Open configuration folder with the app closed. Actions alone travel as the data\actions subset. On Mac (paid App Store app) settings live in the app.mp3tag.Mp3tag defaults domain, exported and imported with the defaults command.
