Where Does MyNetDiary Store Food Logs?

MyNetDiary account synced food logs, weight and device integrations.

Last updated

MyNetDiary keeps food logs, weight history, custom foods and photos on the account with per device cache for offline logging. Integrations (HealthKit, Google Fit, Fitbit, Garmin) push steps and workouts into the same diary.

Years of logs make the export worth knowing: CSV and PDF reports generate from the account for coaches and doctors. The app cache is disposable; the diary is not. Reinstalls restore everything on login except unsynced drafts made offline minutes ago.

Where MyNetDiary stores this, by platform

Android
App-private storage (offline cache; diary on your account)

Log meals offline; entries sync when connected. Device integrations live in settings per phone. Clearing app data drops cache; the diary restores on sign in.

iOS
App sandbox (offline cache; diary on your account)

Same model on iPhone and Watch with HealthKit sync. Premium features (macro cycling, coaching) follow the subscription. Deleting the app clears cache only.

Frequently asked questions

how do I export MyNetDiary data

Generate CSV or PDF reports from the account on web or in-app sharing. Back up custom foods and photos that way before cancelling; the diary itself stays readable during the subscription window.

does MyNetDiary work offline

Logging works offline with later sync. Food search needs connectivity for new items. Integrations sync on their own schedules once reconnected.
