OruxMaps centers on one shared folder. Offline maps sit in mapfiles, recorded tracks in tracklogs, and waypoints beside them. Everything hangs off the oruxmaps directory at the top of shared storage.
That single root is the backup unit. Copy it whole with the app closed and the new install picks up maps plus history. Custom calibrated maps are the fragile part: image plus calibration file must travel together or the map loads blank.
