Where Are Persona 4 Golden Save Files Located?
The Persona 4 Golden save files on PC, with Inaba progress in Steam's userdata tree.
Last updated
Golden saves a year in Inaba inside Steam's userdata directory under its App ID, with no copy anywhere in AppData or Documents. Config sits apart in Local AppData, so settings and Social Links split across two homes.
Steam discussions confirm the split so often it qualifies as community canon. Copy the remote folder for the calendar that matters most.
Where Persona 4 Golden stores this, by platform
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\[SteamID]\1113000\remote
Steam userdata location, not AppData. [SteamID] is your numeric account ID and 1113000 is the game's App ID. Config lives apart at %LOCALAPPDATA%\Sega\P4G\P4G.ini.
Frequently asked questions
Where is the Persona 4 Golden config file?
At %LOCALAPPDATA%\Sega\P4G\P4G.ini, separate from the userdata saves. Copy both for a transfer that preserves graphics with progress.
How do I back up Persona 4 Golden?
Copy the whole remote folder while Steam is closed. Every Social Link and dungeon run travels inside it.
