Quake 4 keeps its Strogg war in the install folder under a q4base directory, with config sharing the same tree. Id Tech 4 games lived with their binaries, and this one never moved out.
Program Files installs without elevation redirect writes to VirtualStore, the classic trap for classics. Check both spots if the medal count looks wrong after a session.
