Where Does the Reddit App Store Data?
The official Reddit app keeps feed in private storage. Boost and Sync are separate third-party apps.
Last updated
Reddit official runs the frontpage package on Android. Private storage holds login session plus feed and media cache. Third-party clients keep entirely separate data under their own IDs. Same login works everywhere, but local files never transfer between clients.
An iOS build exists separately with an unverified ID, so only Android is stated here. Chats and subscriptions live server side. Fresh login restores everything after reinstall. Old redditsync and abandoned wrappers are different listings with dead data.
