Where Does the ServusTV App Store Data?

ServusTV keeps favorites in private storage on Android and iOS under a mautilus ID. Session and cache stay local while favorites sync from servers.

Last updated

Austrian broadcaster ServusTV uses a mautilus package on Android and a redbull twin on iOS. Both builds keep data in private storage. That local area holds the login session and the stream cache. Cached listings sit beside session files in the same private area.

Shows stream from ServusTV servers under the account. The phone holds session state and cached listings rather than the video files. A fresh login after reinstall pulls favorites back from the servers. The same account on either platform returns the same saved state.

Where ServusTV stores this, by platform

Android
/data/data/com.mautilus.servus

Private session and stream cache for the verified mautilus package. Favorites sync from ServusTV servers.

iOS
/var/mobile/Containers/Data/Application/<guid>/Documents

GUID container for the redbull twin bundle (App Store ID 517249438). Note the string differs from Android.

Frequently asked questions

Do ServusTV favorites transfer phones?

Log into the same ServusTV account on the new phone. Favorites sync from ServusTV servers, so they appear after login. Local data on the old phone holds only session and stream cache. That local copy does not move. Sign in restores the saved shows.

How do I clear ServusTV cache?

Clear cache from system settings when stream data looks stale. This removes cached listings and stream data while keeping the account link. A full storage clear logs you out. After that, log back in and shows return from the servers.
