Where Does Shpock Store Listings and Orders?

Shpock keeps listings, orders, and chats on its servers with the phone holding session cache in a private sandbox.

Last updated

Shpock is fully server-side. Listings, buyer protection orders, and messages attach to the account. The sandbox holds login session and cached images.

Delivery orders render from the same backend as the chats that arranged them. That keeps both phones identical after login. Gallery originals remain the only full-resolution copy of sale photos.

Where Shpock stores this, by platform

Android
/data/data/com.shpock.android

Private sandbox for session and image cache. Listings and orders are account-side. Keep sale photos in the gallery; the app caches thumbnails.

iOS
/var/mobile/Containers/Data/Application/<guid>/Documents

Sandboxed container with the same server archive. Favorites sync after login. Reinstalls only reset device trust.

Frequently asked questions

How do I move Shpock to a new phone?

Log in on the new phone. Active listings, purchases, and conversations sync from the account. Listing photos come from the gallery, so keep those outside the old app.

How do I save Shpock listing photos?

Download them from the listing while it runs. Sold and deleted listings fade along with their images. The sandbox held thumbnails only, never the originals.
