Where Does Slidebox Store Photo Decisions?

Slidebox swipe organization over camera roll with albums in app storage.

Last updated

Slidebox never holds your photos. It shows the camera roll one by one for keep, delete and album sorting, then applies those decisions to the system library. The pictures live in Photos (iOS) or device storage (Android) the whole time.

What Slidebox keeps is workflow state: review queues, album mappings and comparison progress in app storage. Deleting the app loses your place in a big cleanup, never the photos. The organized albums themselves persist in the system library afterward.

Where Slidebox stores this, by platform

Android
Device photo folders (photos stay put; queue state in app storage)

Swipes move or delete real files, so review carefully before bulk sessions. Albums created land in the gallery for any app to use. Back up photos with the system backup, not Slidebox.

iOS
Apple Photos library (photos stay put; queue state in sandbox)

Needs full Photos access to sort and delete. Albums sync through iCloud Photos like any other album. Removing Slidebox leaves every decision already applied intact.

Frequently asked questions

does deleting Slidebox delete my photos

No. Photos live in the system library the entire time. Only the unsorted review queue and app preferences vanish. Albums you already filed stay exactly where Slidebox put them.

how do I back up a Slidebox cleanup

Back up the photo library itself (iCloud Photos, Google Photos or device backup). There is no Slidebox project file to save, since sorting writes straight into the library.
