Where Does Symphony Music Store Playlists on Android?
Where the Symphony music player keeps playlists and settings on Android for backup and moves.
Last updated
Symphony keeps playlists and settings in app private storage with tracks in shared storage. The split matches other local Android players, so standard backup habits carry over to new phones.
Export playlists for moves; private data dies with uninstalls. This is the open source Symphony music player, unrelated to the Symphony of War tactics game. Artwork cache rebuilds on demand after clearing, so skip it.

Playlists and settings in private storage, tracks in shared folders. Export playlists in-app. Not the Symphony of War game; different app entirely.
Frequently asked questions
How do I move Symphony playlists to a new phone?
Export playlists inside the app where offered, then copy those plus device backup off the phone. Settings travel with backup, playlists need the export. Reinstalls wipe unsaved queues.
Symphony the game or the music app?
This post covers the Symphony open source music player, not the Symphony of War game. Apps and games share nothing here despite the name; search with music to land right.
