Last updated
Wargroove 2 follows its predecessor into Roaming AppData under the Chucklefish publisher folder, with a spaceless Wargroove2 directory holding the campaign saves. The family resemblance is exact down to the folder shape.
Steam Cloud mirrors the tree, which covers most general to general transfers. Manual copies still rule before modded campaigns, where one bad custom unit can end a run early.
Where Wargroove 2 stores this, by platform
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Chucklefish\Wargroove2\save
Roaming AppData with no space in Wargroove2. Same house pattern as the first Wargroove. Steam Cloud syncs this tree.
Frequently asked questions
Does this cover the first Wargroove?
No. The original kept its own Wargroove folder beside this one. Each game reads only its own directory.
How do I back up Wargroove 2 campaigns?
Copy the save folder while the game is closed. Every campaign chapter and custom map result travels inside it.
