WetterOnline keeps favorite places and settings locally in a private sandbox with forecasts fetched live.

WetterOnline favorites are local-only. Saved places, widgets, units, and notification settings sit in the private sandbox. Forecasts and radar come from the server on demand.
That makes reinstalls a fresh start for places. No login exists to pull them back. The tradeoff is privacy: nothing personal ever leaves the phone beyond the forecast request itself.
