Where Are The Whispered World Save Files Located?
The Whispered World save files on PC, with Sadwick's journey in a Savegames folder.
Last updated
Sadwick's circus saves in Local AppData under the full Daedalic Entertainment GmbH publisher name, inside a Special Edition folder with a Savegames level at the bottom. The GmbH suffix and the subfolder both matter for typed paths.
Saves do not transfer between the original and the Special Edition, so match the version before restoring backups. Copy the Savegames folder and the whole depressing circus transfers.
Where The Whispered World stores this, by platform
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Daedalic Entertainment GmbH\The Whispered World Special Edition\Savegames
Local AppData with GmbH in the publisher folder and a Savegames level at the bottom. Covers the Special Edition; the original stored saves in its install folder and the two are incompatible.
