Where Are Wuchang: Fallen Feathers Save Files Located?
Wuchang's Project_Plague save folder on Windows, Steam ID layer, and per slot GameSlots.
Last updated
Wuchang hides its saves behind a codename folder. Look for Project_Plague in local AppData, not anything named Wuchang. Below Saved sits your Steam ID folder, and below that a GameSlots directory with maingame0, maingame1 and friends.
That extra Steam ID level means downloaded saves only work when dropped into your own ID folder. Always back up your folder first, since NG+ overwrites are easy to get wrong.
Where Wuchang: Fallen Feathers stores this, by platform
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Project_Plague\Saved\[SteamID]\GameSlots
[SteamID] is your numeric Steam folder. Each slot is a maingameN folder with .sav files. Ignore .bk and .bka sidecars when swapping saves manually.
Frequently asked questions
How do I install a 100 percent Wuchang save?
Copy the downloaded Steam ID folder contents into your own Project_Plague/Saved/[SteamID] path with the game closed. Launch once after and pick the slot from the menu.
Why is there no Wuchang folder in AppData?
The game uses its project codename. Search for Project_Plague instead and the Saved tree appears. That naming trips up almost everyone the first time.
