Where Does Aimlabs Store Settings and Data?
Aimlabs stores local settings and profile data in a single aimlab_tb folder under LocalLow, with no Steam Cloud involved.
Last updated
Aimlabs turned aim training into a daily routine for a lot of FPS players, and the Steam build still runs tens of thousands of concurrent players. The PC app keeps its local data in one folder: Statespace\aimlab_tb under LocalLow, with settings and local profile data together.
Training results that matter for your account sync through Aimlabs' own service, not Steam. Steam Cloud is not used, which is why sensitivity and interface settings do not follow you between PCs unless you copy the folder yourself.
Where Aimlabs stores this, by platform
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Statespace\aimlab_tb
Local settings, input configuration, and client-side data. AppData is hidden by default, so paste the path into the Run dialog. The folder is named after the studio, Statespace, and the product, aimlab_tb, the usual Unity convention.
~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/714010/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/LocalLow/Statespace/aimlab_tb
Steam Deck and Linux run the Windows build through Proton for app ID 714010, so the same aimlab_tb folder appears inside the prefix.
Frequently asked questions
How do I move Aimlabs settings to a new PC?
Close Aimlabs on both machines and copy the aimlab_tb folder from %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Statespace on the old machine into the same path on the new one. There is no Steam Cloud, so it is a manual job.
Do my Aimlabs scores live in the local folder?
Results tied to your Aimlabs account come from the service, so signing in restores them. The LocalLow folder covers the client side: sensitivity, display, input, and local caches. Deleting it resets those settings only.
Why does LocalLow have a Statespace folder and not Aimlabs?
Statespace is the studio behind Aimlabs, and Unity, which the app is built on, names these folders after company and product. The same convention shows up in most Unity games, so a studio name in the path is normal.
