Installed AIMP keeps prefs in %APPDATA%\AIMP\Profile\AIMP.ini with playlists and skins beside it, and the music library index in AudioLibrary\Local.adb (older builds say Local.db). The official portable option instead keeps the whole Profile tree next to the install folder for USB life.
Beware the third party PortableApps edition: it still writes to Roaming AppData and is not truly portable. For a stick setup use the portable option from the official installer and confirm the path in Preferences, Profile Folder. Copying the Profile tree migrates everything at once.
