Where Does AIMP Store Its Profile?

AIMP stores its profile, settings, and audio library in AppData for a standard install. Portable installs keep the same files in a Profile folder next to the executable.

Last updated

A standard AIMP install uses Roaming AppData AIMP as the profile root. It contains settings files, the AudioLibrary folder, and user added skins and plugins data.

If a Profile folder exists beside AIMP.exe, the player runs in portable mode and writes there instead. Skins from the catalog go under the Skins subfolder of the active profile or the program folder.

Where AIMP stores this, by platform

Windows

Windows
C:\Program Files\AIMP\Profile

Portable profile location. Used when AIMP runs from a USB drive or when the Profile folder was created next to AIMP.exe. Path varies with install location.

Frequently asked questions
