Remedy follows its own tradition here. Alan Wake 2 writes saves, options, and bindings into a single AlanWake2 folder under Local, the same pattern Control and Alan Wake Remastered used.
Inside sits a profile folder with a long hashed name, and the actual slots are aw2-savegame-slot folders within it. Back up the entire AlanWake2 directory rather than cherry picking files. Cloud saves exist on PC storefronts, but a local copy is what saves a run when sync disagrees.

Open the hashed profile folder and look for aw2-savegame-slot-00 and up. The names sort in slot order, so the highest number is usually the latest manual save.
Can I move my saves to another PC?
Yes. Copy the whole AlanWake2 folder to the same path on the new machine and launch once. The slots appear as long as the hashed profile folder comes along with them.
