Where Does Amazfit (Zepp App) Store Data?

Zepp app local data for Amazfit watches on Android and iPhone, and where health history really lives.

Last updated

Amazfit devices sync through the Zepp app (package com.huami.watch.hmwatchmanager, formerly Amazfit). Health metrics, GPS tracks and Zepp Coach plans upload to your Zepp account on AWS. The phone copy is secondary.

Android keeps app files under the scoped storage path for that package. Storage permission covers workout photo saves and GPX or TCX imports. iOS confines the same data to the app container. Account sync matters more than folders here.

Where Amazfit stores this, by platform

Android
/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.huami.watch.hmwatchmanager/files

Official package for the Zepp app. Imports for GPX, TCX and KML routes land under files/. Unpair the old phone before pairing a new one or data forks.

iOS
/var/mobile/Containers/Data/Application/<guid>/Documents

Reach data via Files app or backup, not by typing the GUID path. Mini apps and watch faces from the Zepp Store redownload after login.

Frequently asked questions

How do I export Amazfit workouts?

Use the Zepp app export or share to Strava, then keep the GPX. Local databases under the app package are cache. They do not migrate cleanly by copy.

How do I move Amazfit data to a new phone?

Sign into the Zepp app on the new phone and sync the watch. Steps, sleep, training and Zepp Coach plans download from your account. Pairing a second phone without unpairing splits history.
