Balatro stores each profile in a numbered subfolder with save.jkr, profile.jkr, meta.jkr and settings.jkr inside. Most players only have profile 1. The parent folder is simply called Balatro in the usual per OS app data location.
Copy the whole Balatro folder with the game closed and cloud sync paused. Single file copies break the set because the .jkr files reference each other. Linux runs through Proton, so the same Windows style tree nests under compatdata 2379780. The settings.jkr beside saves holds volume and filter choices.
