Where Does Blue Archive Store Account Data?
Blue Archive progress lives server side on your linked account, not in a file you can copy. App storage paths plus the transfer code flow.
Last updated
Blue Archive keeps your account on its servers. The files on your phone are the app plus downloaded assets, and copying them to another device moves nothing playable. The transfer that matters is the account linkage, done through a one time code in game.
This surprises players coming from PC games, where copying a folder is a full backup. Here the folder is just cache. Link your account first, generate the transfer code second, and treat reinstalls as disposable. A screenshot of your ID screen also helps support recover accounts, so keep one somewhere safe.
Where Blue Archive stores this, by platform
/data/data/com.nexon.bluearchive
Private sandbox plus a scoped storage copy. Both need root or a backup tool to read, and neither holds transferable progress. Move accounts with the in game linkage code, not file copies.
Blue Archive app container (see notes)
Container storage, not exposed in a browsable folder. Back up through device backup and move the account with the in game linkage code before wiping.
Frequently asked questions
How do I move Blue Archive to a new phone?
Open the menu square, then Account, then the device linkage code option. Generate a code on the old device and enter the user ID plus code on the new one. Do this before uninstalling or wiping.
What do I lose if I just reinstall?
Only the APK and its downloaded assets. Your students, currency and story live on Nexon servers under your account. Reinstalling without a linked account strands the progress.
