Where Does Camo Studio Store Presets and Recordings?
Camo Studio saves recordings to a folder you pick in Settings > General. Scenes, presets, and LUTs live in the app config.
Last updated
Camo splits its files in two places. Finished recordings go to plain video files in whatever folder you set under Settings, then General, then Recording save location. Pick that folder deliberately, since high-resolution takes grow quickly.
Everything else stays inside the app. Scenes, collections, Personalise details, and imported LUT presets live in Camo Studio config on the computer. The phone app is only a camera feed once connected, with a dimmed screen curtain to save power. Back up scenes through the gallery, not the filesystem.
Where Camo Studio stores this, by platform
%appdata%\Reincubate\Camo
Config and scenes in the app container. Exact folder names may vary by version. Set the recording folder under Settings > General before long takes.
~/Library/Application Support/Camo Studio
Same split as Windows: recordings to your chosen folder, config in Application Support. Reach hidden Library with Go > Go to Folder in Finder.
Frequently asked questions
How do I change where Camo recordings go?
Open Settings, then General, and read the Recording save location field. Change it there before a long session. The default sits in your user folders, which fills small system drives fast at high resolutions.
Can I import my own LUTs?
Yes. Open the gallery and add Cube, 3DL, or LUT files by dragging them in. They join the built-in cinematic and calibration looks. Reorder or group them in the gallery so favorites stay on top during calls.
Where are Camo logs for troubleshooting?
Use Settings to export logs and send them to support. The logs bundle what the team needs without you hunting through Library folders. Exact config folder names may vary by version, so the in-app export beats manual copying.
