Where Are Car Park Capital Saves Located?
Car Park Capital skips AppData and writes its saves into a folder inside the Steam install directory, using a few custom formats.

Hilkojj Interactive's satirical parking tycoon, published by MicroProse, does what most modern games avoid: it writes your progress into the game's own install folder. Look under steamapps\common\Car Park Capital\saves and the lot is right there.
The formats are custom. .cpcp files hold the main park saves, .cpcs files hold scenarios, .cpbp files are blueprints, and a few .json files carry smaller bits of state. Since everything sits inside the install directory, an uninstall can take the saves with it, so keep a copy somewhere outside Steam.
Where Car Park Capital stores this, by platform
<SteamLibrary>\steamapps\common\Car Park Capital\saves
Custom save formats: .cpcp parks, .cpcs scenarios, .cpbp blueprints, plus .json files. Steam Cloud covers these, but keep an outside copy before uninstalling.
<SteamLibrary>/steamapps/common/Car Park Capital/saves
The Linux build uses the same install-relative layout. Find the folder through Steam's Browse local files option, then open saves.
Frequently asked questions
Where does Car Park Capital store its saves?
In the saves folder inside the game's install directory: steamapps\common\Car Park Capital\saves. Right-click the game in Steam, choose Manage, then Browse local files to get there.
Will I lose my parks if I uninstall?
Possibly. Files inside the install directory are at risk when Steam removes the game. Copy the saves folder elsewhere before uninstalling or moving libraries.
What are .cpcp files?
Park save files. Scenarios use .cpcs and blueprints use .cpbp, and the same folder holds the game's .json data. Copy the whole saves folder so nothing is missed.
