Last updated
Contra Galuga has a spaced folder quirk worth knowing. Saves live in LocalAppData under WayForward Technologies, but the game folder carries a trailing space quirk in some trees. Paste paths rather than typing them.
Settings duplicate into the registry under the full game title. Anniversary Collection saves unlock retro sound mixes in Galuga, which is the one cross game interaction to know. Copy the LocalAppData folder for moves and leave the registry unless migrating toggles too.

Frequently asked questions
How do I move Contra Galuga saves to a new PC?
Copy the WayForward folder to the same LocalAppData path with the game closed. Progress travels in the savedata tree. Cloud mirrors exist, but the folder copy is exact.
Where are Contra Galuga settings in the registry?
Open regedit and browse to the WayForward key, or change options in game and let it write them. Saves live separately in LocalAppData, so the registry holds preferences only.
