The EA App installs PC games to C:\Program Files\EA Games by default, changeable per install and in Settings, Download. Do not confuse it with the old Origin path under Program Files (x86)\Origin Games; leftovers from that era cause half of all where is my game hunts.
The launcher itself lives under Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop with user data in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop. Missing libraries and stuck downloads usually end at Help, App Recovery, Clear Cache. FAT32 drives stall past 4 GB, and activations cap at 5 PCs per day.

Frequently asked questions
My EA games disappeared from the library. How do I get them back?
Run Help, App Recovery, Clear Cache and restart. That rebuilds the library view without touching game files; most missing game cases end here.
Can I install EA games on an external drive?
Yes, pick it at install or set it as the default location. Format NTFS or exFAT (FAT32 stalls at 4 GB) and grant removable volume permission on Mac.
