Where Does Firefish Store Config and Uploads?

Firefish Misskey fork config and files on Linux plus Postgres data.

Last updated

Firefish keeps config in .config yml beside the install with drive files in storage. Notes live in Postgres plus Redis.

Backing up means dumping the database plus copying config and files together. Calckey era paths renamed to Firefish, so old guides may mismatch. Check config for live dirs.

Where Firefish stores this, by platform

Linux
/opt/firefish/.config/

default.yml plus production config here. Files storage and Postgres volume paths come from compose or config. Dump Postgres on schedule; files alone restore nothing.

Frequently asked questions

Where is Firefish config?

In .config under the install root as default.yml. That file points at Postgres, Redis and drive storage. Keep secrets encrypted.

How is Firefish different from Misskey paths?

Folder names changed across the Calckey to Firefish rename. Trust the local .config and compose files over old blog posts when paths differ.
