Where Does Sharkey Store Data and Config?
Sharkey Misskey fork config, uploads and database on Linux servers.
Last updated
Sharkey keeps config in .config yml beside the install with uploads in files storage. Notes and accounts live in Postgres plus Redis.
Backing up means dumping the database plus copying config and files together. Exact parents follow your compose or source guide. Secrets stay in config, not the db.
Where Sharkey stores this, by platform
/opt/sharkey/.config/
default.yml plus production config here. Files storage and Postgres volume paths come from compose or config; inspect both. Dump Postgres on schedule.
Frequently asked questions
Where is Sharkey config?
In .config under the install root as default.yml. That file points at Postgres, Redis and storage. Keep secrets encrypted and versioned.
Where are Sharkey uploads stored?
In the files storage path named in config, not the database. Copy files plus the Postgres dump together for working restores.
