Where Are Frostpunk 2 Save Files Located?

Frostpunk 2 saves on PC under %LOCALAPPDATA%\11bitstudios\Frostpunk2, with a separate subfolder per store: Steam, GOG and Microsoft Store each get their own, so saves never cross between storefronts. Config files sit in Saved\Config\Windows next to each SaveGames folder.
The steady trap is Frostpunk 1. The original uses %LOCALAPPDATA%\11bitstudios\Frostpunk (no 2), and players following old guides end up in the wrong folder. A Mac build exists as well, though its exact path is not documented reliably enough to print here.

Why are my Frostpunk 1 saves not showing in Frostpunk 2?
They never will. Frostpunk 2 reads only its own Frostpunk2 folder, while the original lives in a separate Frostpunk folder. The two games share no saves, settings or folder structure.
Why can't I load my saves in offline mode?
That is a known bug in some Frostpunk 2 builds: existing saves refuse to load with no connection. The workaround players report is going back online to load, then staying in session. Keep a manual copy of SaveGames regardless.
