Ghost Watchers saves in Steam userdata 1850740 with settings in registry HKCU\Software\LLC Renderise. Back up both.
Last updated
Ghost Watchers splits state across disk and registry. Progress lives in Steam userdata under app 1850740. Settings including server region live in HKCU under LLC Renderise.
That split surprises backup makers. Files alone lose options, registry alone loses progress. Export the key and copy the folder together.

Frequently asked questions
How do I back up Ghost Watchers fully?
Copy userdata 1850740 for progress plus export the Renderise registry key for settings. One without the other restores half the game.
How do I change Ghost Watchers region?
Close game and Steam, open regedit at the Renderise key, and change the region value. Server browser issues often trace here.
Does Steam Cloud cover everything?
Progress files sync through Steam Cloud, registry keys do not. Fresh installs keep levels but lose graphics and region choices.
