Where Does Gorilla Tag Store Mods?
Gorilla Tag mods folder on Windows, the BepInEx plugins tree that Monke Mod Manager fills automatically.
Last updated
Gorilla Tag mods live in BepInEx/Plugins inside the install folder. On Steam that root is steamapps/common/Gorilla Tag. Manual installs drop DLL files there after BepInEx is present.
Monke Mod Manager automates the whole flow. It detects the install, installs the loader, and places chosen mods into plugins. Oculus PC builds use a parallel path under another-axiom-gorilla-tag instead of Steam. Quest standalone cannot use these files. Run the manager as administrator when installs fail repeatedly.
Where Gorilla Tag stores this, by platform
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Gorilla Tag\BepInEx\Plugins
DLL files in BepInEx/Plugins under the install. Manager installs the loader automatically. Quest standalone cannot load these PC mods.
Frequently asked questions
How do I install Gorilla Tag mods easily?
Run Monke Mod Manager, point it at your install, and tick the mods you want. It installs BepInEx plus choices into the game folder. Launch once first on clean installs so the tree initializes.
How do I uninstall all mods?
Delete the BepInEx folder from the install directory to return to vanilla. Keep a copy if you swap often. Quest standalone builds cannot use PC mods at all.
