Where Are Heroes of Might and Magic Olden Era Save Files Located?
Olden Era buries saves in LocalLow under Unfrozen, and the folder moved once during Early Access builds.

Olden Era keeps saves in %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Unfrozen\HeroesOldenEra\user\Steam_<SteamID>\saves. Campaign progress, custom maps, map templates and preferences sit in sibling folders (campaign, my_maps, prefs), so the whole user folder is the real backup unit.
The path moved once during Early Access from Unfrozen\HeroesOE\saves, and old forum answers still quote the dead location. If your saves vanish after an update, check the old tree before panicking. Copy both folders forward and the game picks them up.
