Where Does Kap Store Settings and Exports?
Kap keeps preferences in ~/Library/Application Support/Kap with exports going to Movies or a chosen folder.

Kap stores editor preferences, export presets and plugin settings in its Application Support folder on Mac. Recordings export to the Movies folder or a custom destination, never into the config tree.
Resetting preferences leaves every exported video untouched. The config folder only describes how future captures behave, so deleting it is a safe first step when the UI acts up.
