Where Are Mandragora Save Files Located?

Mandragora keeps saves in AppData Local MandragoraWotWT Saved SaveGames as .sav files, with config in WindowsNoEditor next door.

Last updated

Mandragora uses the classic Unreal Engine 4 layout with no surprises. Saves are .sav files in Saved SaveGames, config is in Saved Config WindowsNoEditor, and both sit under a MandragoraWotWT folder in Local AppData. Every store build uses the same tree.

That consistency makes manual moves simple. Copy the Saved folder whole and you carry settings along with progress. Cloud cover depends on where you bought it, but the disk layout never changes between Steam, Epic, GOG and the Microsoft Store.

Where Mandragora stores this, by platform

Windows
%LOCALAPPDATA%\MandragoraWotWT\Saved\SaveGames

Each playthrough is a set of .sav files here. No per-user ID subfolder, so the path is the same for every account on the machine. Copy with the game closed.

Windows
%LOCALAPPDATA%\MandragoraWotWT\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

Engine and input settings for the Windows build. Back this up alongside SaveGames if you care about key bindings and graphics options surviving the move.

Linux
<SteamLibrary>/steamapps/compatdata/1721060/pfx/

Steam Play prefix for App ID 1721060. The MandragoraWotWT tree is mirrored inside the prefix drive, with Cloud data also under ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<steamid>/1721060/.

Frequently asked questions

How do I back up Mandragora saves on PC?

Copy the whole %LOCALAPPDATA%\MandragoraWotWT\Saved folder with the game closed. That grabs SaveGames plus the Config folder that records your settings. Restoring one .sav without its siblings can load with wrong options.

Does Mandragora sync saves to the cloud?

Yes. Steam Cloud, Epic Cloud, GOG Galaxy and Xbox Cloud each cover their own build. The local folder layout is identical across stores, only the cloud backend differs, so keep to one store per playthrough.

Where is the Mandragora config file?

Open %LOCALAPPDATA%\MandragoraWotWT\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor. Engine settings and key bindings sit there. The SaveGames folder next to it is the one with your actual progress.
