MechWarrior 5: Clans stores saves in a MW5Clans folder in Local AppData. That name matters because MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries uses a different folder, MW5Mercs. The two games never touch each other's files, so owning both means two save trees to back up.
The layout is otherwise textbook Unreal Engine: SaveGames for progress, Config for settings. Keybind complaints trace back to the Config folder here, so it is worth including in any backup even though the saves are the main prize.
