Where Does MEGAsync Store Config and Sync Data?

MEGAsync separates your files from its bookkeeping. Synced folders live wherever you pointed them, usually a MEGA folder in home. The app's own state, sync database, encrypted sync config and logs, lives in a Mega Limited folder in the platform's application-data location.
The spaces in the path break naive scripts, so quote it when scripting around MEGAsync. Newer versions encrypt the sync configuration with machine-specific keys, which means the config folder is backup-worthy but not portable: restores on the same machine work, transplants to a new one do not.

Wherever you chose during setup, not in the config folder. The default is a MEGA folder in your home directory; each sync pair can point anywhere. The Mega Limited folder above holds only the app's own bookkeeping, so deleting it never deletes synced files.
where are megasync logs
Inside the Mega Limited data folder, in rotating log files. When support asks for diagnostics, zip that folder's logs rather than screenshotting errors. Set logging verbosity in the app's settings dialog before reproducing the problem for a useful capture.
