Mihon stores everything under one storage folder you choose during setup, usually a Mihon folder at the top level of internal storage. Inside it you will find downloads, an autobackup folder with .tachibk files, and a local folder for your own comics.
Do not point it at a system folder. Android 11 and later enforce scoped storage, so Documents or Downloads will cause access errors. A top level Mihon folder avoids that mess, and internal storage is more reliable than an SD card for large libraries.
