Where Does MindMaster Keep Auto-Saves?
MindMaster auto-save and recovery folders on Windows and macOS.
Last updated
MindMaster, now named EdrawMind, keeps finished maps wherever the user saves them. No fixed documents folder exists. The only stable paths are auto-save and recovery.
Both platforms hold those under an Edraw folder. Windows uses LocalAppData. macOS uses a Libraries path exactly as support documents it. Target these for rescue jobs, not for archiving finished work.
Where MindMaster stores this, by platform
%LocalAppData%\Edraw\EdrawMind
Auto-save and recovery storage. Finished .emmx maps save wherever chosen across local and cloud spots. Recovery through the Advanced file recovery view. Product renamed EdrawMind.
~/Libraries/Edraw/EdrawMind
Same auto-save role as Windows under the support documented Libraries path. Finished maps live wherever the user saved them.
Frequently asked questions
How do I recover an unsaved mind map?
Open the Advanced file recovery view to find timed saves. The default interval is three minutes. Save a recovered copy somewhere deliberate at once, since recovery storage is temporary by nature.
Is there a default save folder?
No. Save locations are user chosen across Computer, Personal Cloud and Dropbox with .emmx files. Only the auto-save and recovery folders sit at fixed paths. Keep finished maps in your own folder structure.
